After staying at Canberra for 3 days we decided to do some free camping at Wee Jasper. As we traveled from Canberra to Wee Jasper it took us some time to reach there. It took us 1 hour 30 but we left around 6:30 so it was 8:00pm when we arrived. Luckily it was nighttime, so I can have a decent sleep. But it doesn’t end here as the mosquitoes kept me awake for a long time.

We got a great spot next to the river rapids and not to far from the toilets.

After setting up the caravan in the morning and having breakfast my brothers and I got an idea, but it was dangerous. We rode the rapids at the river with our boogie boards hitting nearly every rock there was. It hurt a lot, but it became addicting as we had so much fun until the water got cold.

After having a lot of battle scars the war was over when my parents called my brothers and I to go to a water hole not too far from the caravan. We went with our dogs going up every hill there was until we made it to our destination.

The water was freezing, every step I took it made me regret my last because the water was so mucky and cold. There were so many rocks there that I didn’t feel safe until the rain saved me, it started to rain so we had to head back. We rushed back to our caravan before the rain got worse then we played some chess, I played against my brother and I obviously won. When the rain stopped I went for a shower. Don’t get me started with the insects there how do get a little privacy these days!
