A great day to be proud of but greater because its my birthday. What is a birthday you might ask? it is a rare opportunity where you get free cake, computer time, all the attention and a chocolate freddo. As I woke up my brothers already had a frown on their faces as I got all the attention. I was spoiled as I got to call Oliver, Max and Marc on the same day we went to the pub and I got a birthday cake. But all things must come to an end this wonderful day ended with me knowing I’ll have to wait another year.

On the way to Dubbo we decided to stop at a small town in the middle of a nowhere called Yeoval. This town has a population of approximately 300 people + the amazing Morin’s for one day. We stopped here because mum really wanted to see the town where Banjo Paterson spent his child hood years. Who is Banjo Paterson? Banjo Paterson is one of Australia’s most recognized poet.

We went to a museum and learned about his life and history. We used headphones to interact with the exhibits, facts and images and we had some fun with trying beards and hats from the poem ‘The man from Ironbark’.

After that overload of information, we had some scones with a side of the thickest milk shakes. We bought some souvenirs including a Banjo coin and a book before heading home.

Later that day we set sail to Dubbo hearing our new and improved Audio book from the car. We arrived at Dubbo then set up home base until our next attack. We decided to end the day with a swim in the pool for around 20 minutes. The temperature was cool which made my dad come in until my brother wanted to go toilet. We got out and went for a warm shower before going to sleep.
