Toowomba

We decided to slow down in Toowoomba as we encountered many situations including my brother Raf having a bug in his stomach, my dog straining her leg and being told she needed a $3000 surgery and my dad hurting his back.

We were in a very tight situation surviving the 2 weeks, we could only start to relax until after we took our dog to the vet. We spent hours waiting for the diagnosis and eventually we were told that she sprained her leg. I finally stopped worrying and thought about my brother as he was going to go to the hospital.

The camp site was extraordinary as there was a lake with turtles, ducks, plenty of space for fly kites and space to run around.

There was also a great hockey club with great food and internet access nearby. At this club we met a boy named Harry who played with us while we were on our computers. As I felt the fresh air rush past face, ice cream arrived and we stop playing on our computers. I must say that Toowoomba was a great place but there was nothing different about it. We spent our 2 weeks there doing the average such as flying kites, going to the library, and going to the hockey club.

As we had many injuries we didn’t do many outings except going to the gardens. It was just a small tourist spot where there were small models made from bush such as Thomas the Tank engine, Leaning Tower of Pisa and many more.
