Townsville

Mum had an old friend from Townsville named Nicole and she invited us to go stay with her while we were in Townsville. We planned to stay under the pergola in our caravan but unfortunately our caravan was too tall. While we were trying to think it through Nicole offered us to use the 2 spare rooms she had which was extremely nice.

They also had a dog called Albert but to my disgust all the dogs were barking at each other again.

We only had to take a few things out of the caravan therefore we did it quickly to spend as much time around Townsville as possible. We arrived at around 5:00pm and decided to start cooking dinner. Dad and Nicole cooked up a storm as I saw them grilling up the barbeque. As they were taking a little long I expected a lot from them. Five minutes later a grand serve of food came, and I dug in not knowing what to go for first. After that splendid meal we relaxed in our fluffy mattress.

The next day we went to castle hill as a recommended idea because of the view of Townsville. We drove up most of the hill although some people achieved it bye foot.

After a very bumpy ride we arrived at the top and could see the whole town. Josh and I got to the top first as we were the fastest, leaving behind the rest of the family. After a few minutes we were joined by the rest of the family and we got a few camera shots before going back down.

As we did our afternoon exercise we decided to go get an early lunch at a place called "That Place". It was funny how dessert came before lunch so in the end we had pancakes with maple syrup first. After a filling meal we decided to go back to our caravan and rest.
